Film Review: Doctor Strange

Yay, another Marvel movie! I've been so excited about this film since I found out they were making it and that my favourite actor, Benedict Cumberbatch, was going to be the title character. By adding Cumberbatch to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all three of my favourite actors are now part of Marvel films (the other two being Tom Hiddleston and Sebastian Stan).

I love that the UK get Marvel films earlier than some other countries, so while most people still have a week to wait, I've already had the privilege of seeing the latest movie from Marvel Studios.

Unboxing: WHSmith Zoella Book Club

Hooray, Zoella has done another round of the book club with WHSmith! I absolutely adored the last book club and enjoyed reading all eight books on offer, so when she announced in a vlog that she was doing it again I was desperate to find out which books were included.

Zoella released the official video on Wednesday 19th October (see below) and the books were released online and in store the following day.

I sat down to watch the video as soon as it went live.

I had the lovely surprise of receiving the whole eight-book collection in the post on the Friday (the day before my wedding), along with a host of other amazing goodies. So, I thought I'd show you all the unboxing of my special delivery in photos and Instagram videos.

I'm Loving: Pumpkin Picking

Last year I spent hours and hours researching online to find any pumpkin patches nearby, where you can pick your own pumpkins rather than just grabbing them from your local supermarket. I never found one, but this year when I typed it into Google I found one right away. I was so excited!

We went over to the pumpkin patch at the weekend and I loved it.

Foxes Farm Produce have two pumpkin patch sites in Essex. Visit their website here to find out more about it.

Film Review: The Girl On The Train

This has been such a highly-anticipated film, and after reading the book I knew I had to see it! We went on Wednesday, on opening night, to see if it lived up to my expectations from the book.

My Monthly Favourites: September 2016

Here are my monthly favourites for September...

I've had Revlon's HD lipstick in 'Rose' for ages but I've used it almost everyday in September. It's quite a neutral pink but it still gives your lips a bit of colour. I also love the feel of it and the subtle shine it gives. Buy it here.

This Kate Spade bag was an amazing gift from my Mum on the day of my hen party. She knows just how much I love Kate Spade and this bag was the perfect combination of my favourite designer and the topic of weddings. It reads 'vintage, new, borrowed, blue'. How much nicer does 'vintage' sound compared to saying 'old'. This bag is no longer available from Kate Spade online, but there is one of a similar style here.

Film Review: The Magnificent Seven

I know that this film is a remake but I've never seen the original, so I won't be able to compare the two of them. I just wanted to put that out there so that no one is expecting me to say what is similar or different.

When I first saw the trailer for this film, I knew it was one that I wanted to see right away. Unfortunately, we ended up being so busy on opening night and during the week that followed that, we didn't get the chance to see it until this past Friday night. Never mind, we still got to see it!
