WHSmith Zoella Book Club: Review (Books 5-8)

I have loved taking part in the Zoella Book Club with WHSmith. I posted about it back in June here and the first part of my book club review (for books 1-4) can be found here. I've loved sharing opinions and thoughts on these books with others on WHSmith's Twitter. The book club nights have all been brilliant and I'm sad that it's all over, but it's been great!

Here are the last four books of the Zoella Book Club:

So let's get on with the reviews and Twitter chat! Before continuing please be aware that there are some spoilers ahead.

Theatre Review: No Man's Land

I booked this play for Clay's birthday because he is a huge fan of Sir Ian McKellen. So, right after we finished work on Friday, Clay and I headed into London to see the show.

But, before going to the theatre we stopped off at the Rainforest Cafe on Shaftesbury Avenue for a quick dinner. Well, it looked more like a feast to be honest!

Show Review: Marvel Universe LIVE! Super Heroes Assemble

This week I was treated to the stunt show Marvel Universe LIVE! Super Heroes Assemble. Clay bought me the tickets for my birthday back in June. Everyone I know can tell you how much of a Marvel fan I am and that this was the perfect gift for me.

So, here's a short review of the superhero stunt show...

Film Review: Bridget Jones's Baby

It's finally here! This movie has been a long time coming and I'm so glad I had the time to go and see it opening weekend. The trailers have been hilarious and I was praying that this wasn't going to be one of those films when they show all of the best bits in those trailers and that there wouldn't be anything funny in the rest of the film. So, here's what I thought of the latest look into the world of Bridget Jones...

Get Ready With Me: My Weekday Morning Routine

I've been asked a number of times how long it takes me to get ready in the morning, how much time is spent on my makeup, what I do for breakfast, etc. So, here is a quick rundown of a typical weekday morning for me when I'm getting ready to go to work...

My Top Ten: Marvel Movies

Everyone that knows me can tell you that I love Marvel. So, to celebrate the release of Captain America: Civil War on DVD and Blu-Ray, I thought I'd share with you my ten favourite Marvel movies.

Here they are, in reverse order:

Get Organised: Stationery Shopping

If you're anything like me, there's nothing better than getting all new stationery for going back to school - or in my case back to work, as I work in a school. I always get myself a few new bits for work but this is my first year not studying with the Open University so I'm having stationery shopping withdrawal symptoms right now. However, I'm thinking of doing a few short courses with FutureLearn, as I've done a couple of Shakespeare modules with them in the past (Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing) and really enjoyed them. Plus, they're free (bonus!)

I love stationery too much so I know I'll still get some for this school year and a couple of bits for any FutureLearn course I do, so I've been looking online for some lovely pieces to share with you all.

So, here are some of the items I found that I've fallen in love with (and now I just need to narrow the choices down because I don't need all of it):
