I Want to Try: CocoWhite

I have just discovered a company called CocoWhite who sell coconut oil products for oil pulling.

I have heard of oil pulling before and have wanted to try it for a while but haven't yet gotten around to it. But on Instagram I came across the company's account and decided to look into them.

They have become so popular, being used by so many celebrities and written about my so many well-known magazines, that they currently release only a limited amount of stock each day.

You can use just normal coconut oil on its own (although it's apparently quite bitter like that), but CocoWhite do three amazing-sounding flavours:
You can also buy an assorted pack if - like me - you want to try them all!

I personally can't wait to try the vanilla! Yes, I am going to be one of those people who will be waiting for the stock to go online so I can try them and officially pass my judgement on it.

It seems simple enough and the reviews I've read and heard from people so far are really making me want to try it!

Have you tried any of CocoWhite's products? How were they? Or are you just desperate to try them, like me? Let me know through the comments, Twitter, Instagram, or find me on Pinterest!

I'm Loving: Simply Taralynn

So I thought I would share one of my favourite bloggers with you. If you follow me on Pinterest you will know that I often pin a lot of items that have the words 'Simply Taralynn' in the description box. So I'm going to show you all the gorgeous face behind the blog posts I love to pin!

Taralynn has an amazing story - which you can read in full on her website - and can often be found posting amazing recipes and fitness updates.

I could sit and go back through her posts for hours and hours. Well, actually I have in the past to pin all of the recipes I've missed if I've had time away from my computer!

They aren't just any recipes either, they are the healthy alternative! And although I live in the UK and Taralynn is based in the US I still manage to make the majority of the food she posts, with the ingredients I can find as close to hers, without any trouble. Here are a few of her recipes that I've followed before (these can be found on her site):

The pancakes, made with chia seeds, are amazing and these little pumpkin bars are one of the best little treats I've ever had, and I can eat both without feeling guilty too!

My favourite post from her website was the 'laptop lunches' she created, all under 500 calories. It helped me with what I could pack to take to work on a daily basis:

Definitely check the site out for yourself, it's worth a look for sure! Don't say I didn't warn you though, it can become addictive and you end up checking for posts everyday to see what you can try making at the weekend!

I'm Listening to: Queen + Adam Lambert!

I was lucky enough to see Queen and Adam Lambert perform at The O2 in London on 17 January.

I must admit that although I know loads of Queen songs and love their music - it's legendary. However... it's not my usual choice.

I like Alfie Boe, Il Divo, Josh Groban, and Collabro, which is unusual for a twenty-two year old!

I'm also a massive fan of musicals like 'Les Miserables', 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Wicked', and 'Into the Woods', but I have never seen the Queen-based musical 'We Will Rock You'.

But I knew that I would know a lot of the songs and was not going to pass up the chance to see Brian May play live, or witness Adam Lambert's amazing live performances. And the show certainly didn't disappoint!

Here are a few pictures from the show. You can also find a few video clips on my Instagram: @JanayBrazier

Did anyone else see Queen on their tour with Adam? If you could see anyone live who would it be? Next on my list is Collabro!

Get in my Wardrobe: River Island's New Season Stock

I had a massive clear out in my wardrobe a couple of weeks ago and now have lots of room for new Spring clothing (that wasn't why I cleared my closet out, I did it so I had extra space but there's nothing wrong with filling it up with lovely, new things!)

When I was wandering along the high street last weekend I ended up in River Island... and I was in there for a VERY long time. The clothing on the mannequins at the front of the store immediately drew me in and I found that I liked basically everything I saw. Honestly, if I could have bought everything I fell in love with I would have bought most of the new stock!

My plan for this post was to add my top 10 items but when I looked again I realised I couldn't choose just 10... so... I chose 40! Oops! Well, it just goes to show how much nice stuff their was!

So here are the items I picked out. You can buy them all online now at River Island.

My Make-up Bag: e.l.f. Cosmetics

In November I was searching online - mainly on Pinterest! - for make-up tutorials and products. Most of the searches resulted in lovely cosmetic finds, but unfortunately for me a lot of them were from the US and with me in the UK they aren't always available.

One of the brands I came across was e.l.f. (which stands for eyes lips and face) and was excited to see that this was a company that were established in the UK and that I could order online.

So naturally I went a little nuts with the online shopping, and early in December my box of goodies arrived. One of the best things about this brand is the price as I managed to order ten items for just over £20! My order consisted of:

I haven't used the lashes yet but I've used everything else and there wasn't a single item that I didn't like. You can find all of the items at the links above, but here are my top five from my first order (in no particular order).

1. Baked Blush in 'Peachy Cheeky': I love this! I use it every day in addition to my normal blusher because this acts as my highlighter but with a gorgeous pink shimmer. I've had so many compliments about  my make-up since I started using this. I'd be interested to see what the other blushers colours are like. At only £3.95 each I may have to try them all!

2. Lip Exfoliator: This is an amazing little invention. It's a scrub for your lips that takes the form of a lipstick. You simply apply it to your lips and wipe away the grains, but it still leaves a lovely balm to keep you moisturised. It also tastes good! (£3.95)

3. Mineral Eyeshadow in 'Confident': There are so many colours to choose from, and I only ordered one just to try it out first, but now I want all of the shimmering shades! They last so well, unlike the other sparkly powders I've tried by another brand. They are only £3 each! I want to try 'elegant', 'celebrity', 'socialite', 'caffeinated', and 'smouldering' next.

4. Studio Makeup Mist & Set: I had never used a setting spray before buying this one and I will never be without it now. I often found my make-up wasn't lasting, especially when I was hot, but since using this I have really noticed the difference. And for only £3.95 as well!

5. Zit Zapper: filled with tea tree oil and witch hazel  this little rollerball wonder got the redness down so quickly! It's definitely worth it for only £1.95!

I will definitely be placing more orders from e.l.f. in the very near future. There are so many more products that I've heard amazing things about that I want to try, such as the studio blush palette and studio baked highlighter (because I love the blusher I know this will be incredible too!)

I also want to try the baked eyeshadow palettes, especially in 'NYC', and  maybe 'Texas' too.

If you're interested in buying from e.l.f. they are currently doing free delivery until 10.30am on the 21 January, with no minimum spend and no code required! I know I'll be adding bits to my basket.

Have you ever tried any e.l.f. products? What do you think? Let me know in the comments, or through Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest!

My Top Ten: 2015 Golden Globe Dresses

So I was one of those people who sat waiting for the stars to arrive on the red carpet at the Golden Globes yesterday (Sunday 11 Jan) just to see what they were all wearing.

Normally there are only a couple of dresses that I can actually say that I like and would wear (If I ever had the chance to wear something as amazing as Chanel or Elie Saab!) But this year I found that I was loving so many of them that I was actually struggling to choose a favourite.

I've compiled a list of my top ten dresses of this year's Golden Globe awards, so here they are in reverse order.

(I must also made a special mention to a few that didn't make it into my top ten, but it was so difficult! Taylor Swift looked stunning in yellow; Anna Faris wore a gorgeous nude, sparkly gown; Behati Prinsloo stunned in black sequins when walking the red carpet with her husband Adam Levine; Susan Downey looked amazing in her black gown not long after giving birth to her and Robert Downey Jr.'s daughter; Emily Blunt was practically a goddess in white; and Reese Witherspoon looked amazing in her gown that apparently took over 80 hours to make!)

10. Allison Williams: In this gorgeous red beaded gown the Girls actress looked stunning.

9. Sophie Hunter: Benedict Cumberbatch's newly pregnant fiancée looked so elegant in her gown. She's glowing!

8. Dakota Johnson: How amazing is this Chanel Couture dress on the Fifty Shades of Grey leading lady?! It's so beautiful.

7. Sienna Miller: I love the neckline and the embroidery on this gown. I would love to have somewhere to wear this!

6. Chrissy Teigen: John Legend's wife looks incredible in this fitted, pale pink gown. I love the detail.

5. Alessandra Ambrosio: The Victoria's Secret model didn't disappoint in this very revealing dress. Well, if you've got it, flaunt it!

4. Jenna Dewan-Tatum: Channing Tatum's wife always wears such elegant, beautiful dresses but I think this yellow gown has to be my favourite of hers.

3. Heidi Klum: So we're into the top three and this is where it became really hard! Heidi came third with this striking red dress!

2. Kate Beckinsale: In second place was this breath-taking Elie Saab gown (Elie Saab is my favourite!)

1. Greer Grammer: And in first place was Miss Golden Globe Greer Grammer, the daughter of Kelsey Grammer. How amazing is this Lorena Sarbu dress?!

So there is my top ten. I'd love to know how other people would rank these gowns. Do you agree? Which is your favourite? Let me know in the comments, through Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest.
